Choose your chapter, find your favorite character, and keep the next step in reach. This guide brings together chapter help, the six current routes, affection tips, and item notes for the part of CreepyDates you are playing now.
Starting a new run? Begin with Quick Start. Returning with a save? Jump to your chapter or use the update guide to prepare your game.
Create your character, meet the residents, and follow the exploration prompts as the story opens up. Check rooms, return to characters after finding an item, and keep a save before a conversation you want to revisit.
Load your latest Chapter 2 save and play through its ending and transition to enter Chapter 3. Open the chapter guide for route notes, key items, CGs, and endings, keeping a save for the branch you want to explore next.
Chapter 4 is scheduled for October 25, 2026. Hahadit’s previews point to more character moments, a visit to Ben’s room, and a Slenderman-related explanation. Spanish, English, and Portuguese are scheduled for launch, with the Portuguese Chapter 3 update arriving alongside it.
CreepyDates currently has six routes: Jeff, Ben, Ticci Toby, Slenderman, Eyeless Jack, and Masky & Hoodie. Use these overviews to choose where to go next, then open the chapter notes for the part of the story you are playing.
Jeff the Killer
Jeff brings sharp-edged humor and volatile energy to the CreepyHouse. Keep a slot before a conversation you want to replay, then use the Chapter 3 Jeff notes to compare choices, key moments, and ending branches.
Ben has an early item interaction that connects exploration with affection: return his hat after speaking with him. Follow the steps below, then open the Chapter 3 guide for his later route and item notes.
Keep Toby’s tasks and conversations from your current run together. If you have found his mask during exploration, note the rooms and characters you have visited before moving on. Toby’s character guide brings together chapter progression and the mask, mission, and dialogue checkpoints.
Open the Chapter 3 route and ending notes for Slenderman’s scenes. If you are following the mystery of his interest in the protagonist, Hahadit has pointed to Chapter 4 for that explanation. Keep your current route ready for the next chapter.
Eyeless Jack’s cool, surgical presence makes him a different kind of company in the house. Use separate save slots when comparing his conversations with another character’s run, and return to his overview when choosing who to follow next.
Masky and Hoodie share one relationship route. Hahadit has explained that it was planned as a joint polyamorous route from the beginning. Follow the pair together and use their Chapter 3 notes for that chapter’s story moments and choices.
The heart meter represents a character’s affection. Hahadit has explained that higher affection can make conversations friendlier and longer, while lower affection can lead to shorter exchanges and a more annoyed response.
Treat it as feedback on your relationship with the character. To compare choices, keep a save before the exchange and look at both the dialogue and the heart meter as you replay it.
An Early Affection Example: Ben’s Hat
Find Ben’s hat in Jeff’s room during the early chapters.
Speak with Ben.
Return to the basement and give him the hat.
Watch the affection meter after the exchange.
This shows how exploration and a follow-up conversation connect. When you pick up something tied to a character, remember who might want to see it.
Items, Exploration & Getting Unstuck
Revisit Conversations After Finding Something
An item can give you a reason to return to a character or location you already checked. Note what you found, who you spoke with afterward, and what your current task asks you to do. Ben’s hat is one concrete example of an item with a later interaction.
When the House Keeps Repeating the Same Response
If a room says you have already checked it, work outward from your last completed task. Revisit the character who gave you the objective, look at the item you most recently found, and check the rooms connected to that task. Keep your route and current objective in mind as you retrace your steps.
A Community Cooking Combination to Try
Players discussing the cooking task have shared eyes and pasta with the sauce left out, and another player reported succeeding with that combination. Try that approach on a separate save and note the result for your route.
Use a manual save before a conversation, item exchange, or branch you want to revisit. After trying a different response, save the new branch separately so it is easy to compare. For an external backup of your run, follow the platform steps in the save guide.
Load your Chapter 2 save and play through the chapter’s ending and transition. The Chapter 3 guide has the next chapter’s route and item notes.
Are Masky and Hoodie separate routes?
They share one relationship route. Hahadit has said the pair was planned as a joint polyamorous route from the start.
Which six routes can I follow?
The current routes are Jeff the Killer, Ben Drowned, Ticci Toby, Slenderman, Eyeless Jack, and the shared Masky & Hoodie route.
What should I do with Ben’s hat?
After finding it in Jeff’s room, speak with Ben and return to the basement to give it back. This exchange raises his affection.
Are more routes planned?
Hahadit plans to expand the character routes after completing the main story. For Nina, Clockwork, and Laughing Jack, the plan is to update the base game so their romance routes can begin in Chapter 2, with possible extra chapters afterward. Liu, Kate, and Jane have also been mentioned among future route ideas.
Where are the Chapter 3 CG and ending notes?
Open the Chapter 3 walkthrough for its existing CG, ending, route, and item sections. Keep a manual save for a branch you want to revisit.
Where can I get help with installation or saves?
Use the Update & Save Guide for moving between versions and backing up a run, Troubleshooting for loading issues, and the iPhone & iPad guide for Apple mobile devices.
Is CreepyDates free, or do I need to pay for a route?
The base game is free, including its current character routes. On itch.io, you can download it for free or choose an amount to support Hahadit. The download guide explains both options.
Is the planned adult DLC part of the base game?
Hahadit has described the adult DLC as a separate paid addition planned after the main story. The base game is intended to remain free. The DLC’s release date and final price have not been announced.
What is Hahadit’s Ko-fi membership for?
Ko-fi offers a voluntary way to support development. The CREEPYDATEROS membership page lists concept art, development updates, early access, and custom items among its benefits. Membership is separate from playing the free base game and its current routes.
Return to your chapter, follow a different conversation, or start another character’s run. Keep your saves organized and use the chapter guides for the details you want to explore next.
